We are committed to supporting students and staff who are fleeing war and persecution. We have a range of scholarships, schemes and support available and we welcome those seeking sanctuary to join our Ë®ÒË·» community.

Sanctuary scholarships

The University offers ten Sanctuary Scholarships for students who are experiencing forced migration due to war or persecution.

ELTC Scholarships

Our English Language Training Centre (ELTC) offers a limited number of scholarships on both full-time and part-time courses for students for students and other people who have sought refuge in the UK and want to improve their English language skills.

Kyiv Polytechnic Institute partnership

We've continued to develop our partnership with the National Technical University of Ukraine Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and have donated £20,000 to help to rebuild its campus air raid shelters.

Individuals receiving support from ASSIST Ë®ÒË·» get free access to University sports facilities by presenting their ASSIST photo card at each venue reception.
