CV and cover letter review
These appointments provide the opportunity to review your CV or cover letter with a member of our adviser team.
Before booking an appointment, you will be asked to review our online resources via our . These activities will help you to develop your CV and cover letter and enable you to get the most out of your time in an appointment.
CV/LinkedIn Booster
These drop-in sessions run every week during teaching weeks. They give you the chance to set time aside to work on your CV, cover letter or LinkedIn profile, with resources available to support you, and an adviser available to provide quick feedback. See our for information of upcoming sessions.
20 minute advice appointments
These appointments offer you the opportunity to speak to an adviser on a range of topics, including:
- Getting started and exploring options
- Finding jobs, placements or internships
- Applications
- Interviews and assessment centres
- Placement advice
- Changing or leaving your course
Please indicate the topic you would like to discuss when booking your appointment.
Book an appointment
Appointments are released for you to book 3 days in advance.
When you have completed your booking, you should receive a booking confirmation with details of your appointment time and location. For online appointments this email will include a Google Meeting link.
Please take the time to review the information in this email as it will help you to prepare for your appointment and ensure you get the most out of your time with the adviser.
Please try to arrive 5 minutes before the appointment start time. If you are late to your appointment, you will either have a shorter appointment or be asked to rebook.
